Testimonials
needed a lift physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Life was hectic
with family and work but I took my first beginner class of Ashtunga (at
the yoga room) and found a new lease on life. My sciatica pain which was left
from my previous pregnancy stretched out and away in just a few classes. I felt
an inner balance which reflected back into day to day life, it's not only great
physical exercise, it’s a feeling of holistic health. I couldn't wish for more
from teachers Karen and Sean at "the yoga room". Their personal
approach, knowledge, wisdom and support as you develop on your journey is
inspiring. To them I wish to say thank you and to anyone thinking of trying
yoga, just come on down to one class and feel for yourself."
verbalise – they adjust anatomically for the external body and yet somehow,
they can adjust internally to see what is going on inside – this is a gift not
many yoga teachers can offer. We are
very blessed to have them on the Mornington Peninsula, as prior to them opening
their shala, I was travelling to Melbourne or referring to old notes at home to
practise. Also, they have created a
'like-minded hub' of yogis, some of which have become good friends, and that is
a gift I was not expecting at all.
Thanks, Sean & Karen, for coming and opening here"
6 months later and we have completed a 28 day intensive course, the Sri O.P. Tiwari Pranayama workshop and, unbelievably, we are now happily getting out of bed at 5am to do our breathing exercises before the 6am Mysore class.
Thanks to Sean’s support we are both physically and emotionally healthier, Andy’s knees have significantly improved and we’ve even lost 10kgs between us!
We’d especially like to thank all the staff at the Yoga Room for their warm welcome. It’s always a pleasure to practise in such a relaxed and friendly environment and we plan to be there for many more sessions in the future."
